As a Veterinary Advisor at Purina, your mission is to build veterinary advocacy and recommendation for the Pro Plan Veterinary and Pro Plan Maintenance ranges. You make the difference by working closely with veterinary practices and local commercial and brand teams to translate scientific knowledge into practical recommendations, training and solutions. This is how you will make a difference as a veterinary consultant • Building trusting relationships with veterinarians to sustainably strengthen the recommendation and use of the Purina Pro Plan ranges. • Translation of scientific findings and clinical evidence into practical recommendations and training for veterinary practices. • Identify and prioritize opportunities within the area to create the most value for animal health and business success. • Develop joint success plans with veterinary practices, opinion leaders and relevant stakeholders to foster sustainable partnerships. • Use of market and customer insights to continuously optimize activities and results. • Working closely with commercial, marketing and other cross-functional teams to drive growth and customer success.

• In-depth scientific understanding and the ability to convey complex veterinary content in an understandable and practical manner.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to inspire and convince veterinarians.
• Structured approach to territorial planning to identify opportunities and set priorities effectively.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and a data-driven approach to continuously develop customer relationships and results.
• Fluent German skills as well as very good English or French skills.
• Passion for pet health and interest in animal nutrition
• Knowledge of pet nutrition is a plus.
