Tasks

Take over as test engineer You play a central role in ensuring the highest product quality as part of our ERP modernization. You will develop and implement automated test solutions that sustainably improve our software quality and secure our business processes.

• You are responsible for the development and maintenance of automated test suites for our ERP system
• You design and implement end-to-end, API and performance tests
• You perform manual regression tests
• You are responsible for the continuous monitoring and assurance of the quality of our applications throughout the development cycle
• Identify and document software errors and work closely with the development team
• You actively help in a committed, interdisciplinary and agile team
• You actively shape the test strategy and continuously develop our test processes
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• You create meaningful test reports and quality metrics

Requirements

• You have a certification as an ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or higher (e.g. Test Automation Engineer, Technical Test Analyst) and have several years of proven professional experience in test automation
• You bring in-depth knowledge in at least one test automation framework (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework)
• You have experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript or C#
• You have an understanding of software development processes and agile methods
• You have experience in dealing with ERP systems as well as in-depth knowledge of API testing (REST, SOAP) and performance testing and are familiar with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Argo CD.
• You have experience in version management with Git and Bitbucket and handling issue tracking systems like Jira
• You convince through analytical thinking and a structured way of working, communicate clearly and enjoy working in a team
• You show your own initiative with pleasure in continuous learning and are characterized by a high quality awareness as well as detail accuracy
