Full description

• Lead internal environmental specialist teams as team and project leaders and work in them and be responsible for the enforcement of environmental law in the assigned areas
• Develop strategic guidelines and operational principles in the energy and climate area of ​​the DDPS. Share responsibility for the army's greenhouse gas accounting and support the departmental areas in the implementation of energy and climate policy requirements
• Collaborate in environmental risk management and the enforcement of the Major Accident Ordinance with a focus on ammunition and explosives
• Represent the interests of the DDPS vis-à-vis other departments, federal agencies and third parties
• Handle political business at the level of the Federal Council and Parliament
• Completed studies as an (environmental) natural scientist or engineer (master)
• Experience in corporate climate protection and in the area of eco/greenhouse gas accounting. Familiarity with standards and guidelines such as ISO 14001, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, GRI Standards (300 series)
• Experience in risk management and ideally in the area of ​​ammunition and explosives
• Analytical and organizational skills, flexibility and initiative
• Communication skills, willingness to cooperate and the ability to argue
• Good active knowledge of a second official language, passive knowledge of a third official language
