- Investigate and search in complex cases of economic crime, corruption and digital crime, mainly in German
- carry out technical surveillance and coercive measures such as observations, house searches and arrests as well as coordination measures at home and abroad

fedpol in action for Switzerland – anytime and anywhere
The Federal Criminal Police (BKP) of fedpol investigates serious crime in federal criminal proceedings and provides operational support to the cantons and foreign authorities in criminal and judicial police tasks. It ensures national and international coordination in various areas of crime and produces criminal analyses and police reports. The BKP is also the national competence centre for the fight against digital crime. The Department of Economic Crime (WK) of the BKP conducts police investigations according to the Code of Criminal Procedure and investigations under the direction of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office (BA). It is organized into four locations in Bern, Lausanne, Lugano and Zurich.
