Application process
- The legally compliant type approval procedures for military vehicles (wheeled, tracked vehicles and changing systems) lead directly to the object and on the specialized application
- Address complex issues relating to legislation, road safety and technical specifications involving federal agencies and the arms industry
- Maintain and help shape the professional exchange with domestic and foreign authorities as well as with armed forces from the German-speaking countries (in German) Support and advise the central purchasing body, the industrial partners and the life cycle management of the VBS vehicle fleet during evaluations and procurement projects in road traffic law issues
- Completed studies as an automotive engineer/in FH, Bachelor of Science in Automotive and Vehicle Engineering or equivalent training with many years of practical experience
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle-specific regulations as well as Swiss and international road traffic law (e.g. VTS, EC/UNECE regulations)
- Very good technical understanding and analytical, networked and holistic thinking; supplemented by very good IT knowledge
- Experience in technical project and process management as well as in cooperation with authorities, the arms industry and international partners
- Strong communication, negotiation and conflict capacity as well as solution-oriented cooperation and situation-appropriate judgment
