You will conduct treatments independently under supervision in the outpatient team of the Competence Center forensics and accompany patients as part of a comprehensive forensic-psychiatric treatment chain.

- You are a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy or are an assistant doctor in an advanced phase of your further education and would like to promote your professional development.
- Interest in forensic psychiatry as well as the motivation to continuously develop in this field.
Main responsibilities
- You will conduct treatments independently under supervision in the outpatient team of the Competence Center forensics and accompany patients as part of a comprehensive forensic-psychiatric treatment chain.
- With a tort-preventive and risk-oriented approach, you make an important contribution to the treatment and work closely with external treatment partners and assigning authorities.
- A varied working day with regular professional exchange, interdisciplinary case discussions and training offers you the opportunity to continuously expand your knowledge and actively contribute to our treatment team.
- You take on responsible tasks and actively shape your work area with a high degree of personal responsibility as well as professional design freedom. Requirements
- You are a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy or are an assistant doctor in an advanced phase of your further education and would like to promote your professional development.
- Interest in forensic psychiatry as well as the motivation to continuously develop in this field.
- The prerequisites for obtaining the canton of St.Gallen’s vocational training permit will be met at the latest when you start work or you will bring the necessary qualifications to obtain them by then.
- A high sense of responsibility, decision-making strength and a reflective way of working distinguish you and enable you to deal professionally with complex clinical and forensic issues.
- Very good knowledge of German in words and writing at at least level C1 enables you to communicate securely and appropriately with patients, authorities and internal and external specialists.
