Main responsibilities
- This is a scientific qualification position.
- In addition to participation in teaching (ranging from 2 to a maximum of 4 SWS) in the area of Islamic Studies/Middle East Studies, independent research is expected.
- In addition, there is the partial assumption of general academic and administrative tasks in the Islamic Studies department, in particular student advisory services (Ba and Ma). Requirements:
- Doctorate in Islamic Studies/Middle East Studies or a closely related discipline
- Excellent knowledge of the working language Arabic and preferably knowledge of another relevant language (e.g. Turkish or Persian) Teaching experience Willingness to teach in German
