The Biel Hospital Center is the public center hospital of the bilingual Biel-Seeland-Berne Jura region. Are you interested in working alongside our 2,300 employees for the health of our population?
We are looking for one or more by 1 October 2026 or by agreement
Chief Medical Secretary/Paediatrician 90%
You do.
- Organisation and management of the Chief Medical Secretariat
- organisation and planning of consultation hours
- Contact with patients and referees
- Writing medical reports and general correspondence of the chief physician
- Preparation of documentation and statistics
- Creating applications and organising events
- Administration of human resources (application, entry and employee interviews)
- Organizational tasks within the framework of clinic management

- They have completed commercial training or an equivalent qualification. Training as medical or chief medical secretary is an advantage
- They have excellent knowledge of German in words and writing as well as good knowledge of French
- Ideally, you have professional experience in the healthcare sector, are very familiar with the medical terminology and are well versed in dealing with the common MS Office applications
- They are characterized by a high sense of responsibility, flexibility and an independent, structured and exact working method.
- You are a motivated, committed and team-oriented personality with pleasure in working together
- They respond to technical and organizational changes with openness and the willingness to actively shape new processes
