Full description
Portrait Linden, known in many places for its ski lift and motocross, is home to almost 1300 inhabitants and lies on the border between the Aare and Emmental. In the Schulhaus Dorf, almost 100 children attend classes in four primary and one real class, while the kindergarten is located in the Schulhaus Jassbach, about 2 km from the Dorfschulehaus. The classes are taught in mixed classes 1.-3. A/B, 4.-6. A/B and 7.-9. by 15 teachers.
Tasks
From the school year 2027/28 we are looking for an independent and committed teacher Sek I or a person in training to become a teacher Sek I to complement our team.
The employment is expected to include 5 to 7 lessons per week, spread over two to three half days. A mixed-year real class (7th, 8th and 9th school year) with about 20 learners is taught. The subjects are currently still being planned and have not yet been definitively determined. From today's perspective, the focus is expected to be in the following areas:
- German (about 3 lessons)
- RZG (2 lessons)
- Depending on the workload and requirements, an IVE lesson can additionally be taken over in the linguistic support area.
Depending on the profile, qualifications and interests of the future teacher, however, assignments in other subjects are also possible, for example in music or sports. For use in sports lessons, a valid swimming brevet base pool is required. The class regularly conducts swimming lessons in the outdoor pool during a quarter. In addition, a visit to the indoor pool during the snow sports camp is part of the annual program.
Since the timetable for the next school year is still being worked out, both the exact employment level and the subject allocation and the teaching days are still open. These can be discussed together and, if possible, flexibly adapted to the needs of the future teacher and the school.
Another special feature of the position is that in the two school weeks before the autumn holidays 2027 additional lessons can be taken on as part of a deputy. The class teacher of the real class will receive a seniority gift during this time, so the employment volume may temporarily increase.
