Their tasks
As a clerk / in purchasing and logistics, you take on operational tasks in purchasing, procurement, warehouse management and logistics. You also assume application responsibility for the purchasing and goods management system "Selectline". They play an important hub function within the institute and monitor orders and delivery dates.
The priorities shall include
- Operational & Strategic Procurement: You are responsible for the entire procurement process of laboratory materials, reagents and capital goods
- Supplier management: You monitor delivery deadlines and evaluate the performance of our partners at home and abroad
- Warehouse & inventory management: You optimize warehousing taking into account expiration dates (batch management) and ensuring just-in-time supply of the various laboratory areas
- Interface function: You work closely with the various laboratory departments and laboratory management to plan needs at an early stage and to identify potential cost savings and risks
- Master data maintenance: You manage article data in the ERP system and support the Head of Finance in budget planning
Your profile
- Commercial or technical basic education (BMA / laboratory assistant). Advantageous training in purchasing or equivalent training
- Many years of professional experience in purchasing and / or logistics, ideally in the field of life sciences, medical technology or healthcare
- In-depth knowledge of data evaluation and data interpretation. Understanding the specific requirements of an accredited medical laboratory
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) and Selectline
- Strong service and solution orientation
- Reliability and a very precise working method
- Very good knowledge of German (level C1) and English (level B2)
- Category B driving licence required
