The “IT Base Infrastructure” solution provides cloud and platform services, data and messaging infrastructure, API management and developer experience for the entire SBB. Our Agile Release Train Application Platform provides the basic infrastructure so that business applications can be implemented and operated quickly, securely and scalably. You will play a key role at the interface of platform services such as databases, containers, IaaS, monitoring, API management and messaging. These are services on which hundreds of applications run and which form the backbone of the digital SBB. You keep the business running, drive further development and keep profitability under control. At the same time, you listen to the market and the digital solution organizations in order to recognize early on where new technologies or services are in demand. • As Product Manager (m/f/d) Application Platform, you are responsible for platforms that form the digital cornerstone of the SBB and are therefore the basis for rail operations in Switzerland.
• You create a demanding and very broad field of activity in an IT that must be designed for maximum availability, standardization and scaling and in which your decisions are directly noticeable.
• You work closely with ARTs such as Identity & Accessmanagement, Development Experience and Cloud Foundation to jointly establish even better, scaled and economical platforms and practices.

• You ensure that technology does not remain an end in itself, but rather reliably gets people from A to B every day.
• You also work actively in the ART management on the further development of the ART and initiate and drive forward cross-ART initiatives.
• In close communication with product owners, development, operations and SaaS providers, you balance requirements and ensure sustainable decisions in interaction with security, architecture and business IT. This is what you bring with you.
• Strong leadership skills to proactively advance topics, further develop teams and employees, promote personal responsibility and act effectively in the shared leadership model.
• Winning demeanor, curiosity about technology trends, entrepreneurial thinking and the tenacity to make topics fly across many stakeholders.
• Confident stakeholder management and target group-oriented communication in a complex area of ​​tension between operations, development, business IT, security and architecture. Strong storytelling skills and executive presence to convey complex platform topics in an understandable manner.
• Sound understanding of infrastructure and platform technologies in order to work with architects and developers on an equal footing and to contribute to technology decisions.
• Several years of experience in product management of platform services in a scaled, agile environment with many customers.
• Validation-driven way of working with the courage to try out new things in a targeted manner, evaluate them with customers and scale them if necessary.
