The Biel Hospital Center is the public center hospital of the bilingual Biel-Seeland-Berne Jura region. Are you interested in working alongside our 2,300 employees for the health of our population?
We are looking for one or more by 01.11.2026 or by agreement
Senior physician or senior physician pneumology 50-100% (job sharing possible)
You do.
- Conduct of pneumological consultation hours and consulting of colleagues under the leadership of the chief physician pneumology
- Independent implementation of broader pneumological and sleep medical investigations as well as interventions in the ambulatory as well as inpatient area
- Establishment and further development of interdisciplinary cooperation and contact maintenance with referring doctors and hospitals
- Assistance in the emergency and weekend service of the medical clinic including emergency department
- Active participation in the education and training of assistant doctors and students in a certified pneumology training institution.
- Interdisciplinary patient-centered boards (including tumor board)
- Cooperation with ambulatory pulmonary rehabilitation

- Completed further training as a specialist pulmonology and or shortly before graduation or already applied for recognition of foreign equivalence
- Several years of in-depth practical experience in the field are beneficial.
- Cooperative, open and team-oriented behavior.
- Evidence of sleep medicine is beneficial
- Initial experience in the field of bronchoscopy and interventional pneumology
- Native German or French language (or equivalent diploma) with basic knowledge of the other language
