University Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy
The LUNA Youth Unit offers inpatient primary psychiatric care for adolescents aged 12 to 17. In a protected framework, young people with psychological stresses are accompanied and treated by an interdisciplinary team. The aim is to stabilize crisis situations and to sustainably improve mental health.
Your tasks
- You accompany children and adolescents in the pedagogical-therapeutic environment, promote their independence and empower them to actively shape their development and therapy process
- You work as a reference person in a multi-professional team of experts in pedagogy, psychology and medicine
- You bring your professional perspective to the diagnostic process, contribute to the consolidation of a common understanding of the case and, together with the treatment team, take responsibility for a documented clarification of goals and implementation of the therapy.
- You take responsibility for the practical training of new specialists and support them in everyday work
- You contribute to compliance with the clinic’s performance goals
Your profile
- You have completed training as a nurse HF and ideally bring experience working with children and adolescents
- You bring the necessary qualification for practical training or are ready to complete a specialist course
- You are empathetic, reflect your actions and actively seek solutions to challenging situations
- You are flexible, resilient and enjoy interdisciplinary cooperation
- You understand how to work constructively with parents and custodians
- You can show a perfect reputation (private and special private extract)
- You bring very good knowledge of German in word and writing, every other language is a plus
