University Clinic for Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy
Primary psychiatric care for adults is provided by the University Hospital for Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. In addition to basic care, specialised care services and a crisis intervention centre are available at the Inselspital site. The offers of the Crisis Intervention Center (KIZ) are aimed at adults who are in a psychosocial crisis, for example after a separation, in a grief phase or due to fears. Close cooperation with the University Emergency Center of Inselspital ensures the best possible treatment for each individual patient.
Their tasks
- They independently assess and treat the entire spectrum of mental illnesses in the acute stage during the night
- You are responsible for diagnosis and therapy planning for acute psychiatric symptoms and diseases
- They work closely with the nursing staff and other professionals from the night team
- You take over the management and coordination of medical emergencies and crisis situations
- They ensure patient-centered and holistic treatment
- You can have up to 6 night services planned at a time. Your work assignments are coordinated with the team
Your profile
- You have completed specialist training in psychiatry and psychotherapy or are about to complete your further education
- You preferably already have professional experience in psychiatric emergency medicine or in a similar field
- Your interest is in psychiatric crisis and emergency treatment and you enjoy interdisciplinary work in the field of tension between psychiatry and somatics.
- Their strengths include high resilience and ability to work under pressure
- You are an open, structured and independent personality
- You have a good knowledge of German in words and writing
