Tasks

• Overall responsibility for the wages department in terms of personnel and technical management (4 team leaders / 19 employees)
• Responsibility for wage processing including financial accounting for the Coop cooperative as well as other mandated and ancillary companies for approx. 47,000 employees
• Ensuring efficient data controlling including account reconciliation as well as the coordination and execution of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and the processing of complex special cases
• Participation in various projects to optimize and introduce new future-oriented processes and participation in working groups on company-specific topics
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements as well as smooth coordination and collaboration with internal and external bodies
• Requirements
• Committed, innovative and empathetic leader with high social skills
• Business administration degree or comparable further training in the area of payroll, social insurance or HR
• Several years of professional and management experience in payroll accounting
• High affinity for high-quality, targeted and independent working methods
• Convincing oral and written communication in German

French and Italian are an advantage
