In this role, you have the opportunity to help shape the planning and realization of SBB’s largest procurement project – for the next generation of double-deck trains for long-distance transport. • As a commercial:r project manager, you are responsible for the commercial issues in the procurement of new rail vehicles for SBB passenger transport.
• In doing so, you are responsible for the commercial provisions of the tender and the work delivery contract, such as remuneration, guarantees, life cycle costs, representations, insurance coverage, etc.
• In the first phase of the project, the focus will be on the preparation of requirements and tender documents; then on the cleaning and evaluation of the offers.
• During the realization phase, you ensure the consistent implementation of the commercial provisions in accordance with the factory delivery contract. In case of contract changes and disputes with the supplier, you will develop the relevant basic documents independently and bring them to the decision within the project organization.
• You work closely with internal and external specialists and ensure that their concerns are adequately taken into account in the factory delivery contract.

• You have experience as a project manager: in a commercial environment, ideally in procurement projects.
• For this position, we require a technical or business degree at FH/Uni level.
• Negotiable oral and written knowledge of German is required. You are able to independently write contract supplements in German. Further language skills in English and/or French are beneficial.
