An der Besonderen Volksschule Bern (BVS) werden Kinder und Jugendliche im Alter von 4 bis 18 Jahren mit einer kognitiven Beeinträchtigung, im Autismus-Spektrum oder mit einer weiteren Beeinträchtigung nach heilpädagogischen Grundsätzen unterrichtet und gefördert.
Aktuell werden rund 100 Kinder und Jugendliche in 15 Klassen unterrichtet. 12 Klassen werden im Schulhaus an der Statthalterstrasse 80 geführt, zwei Klassen an der Tscharnerstrasse 10 (Eigerplatz) und eine Klasse an unserem neuen Standort in der Burgunder-Siedlung in Bümpliz.
