Role overview

Provide and coordinate legal advice to the head of department, as well as internal notes and instructions regarding the application of VAT law Handle sensitive business (complaints, complaints, etc.) until decision-making maturity and prepare notes, statements and other documents (mainly in German) for the head of department, head of department and director of ESTV

• assess, deal with, coordinate and participate in cross-departmental transactions such as opinions on issues of the application of VAT law
• Reply to citizens’ letters addressed to the head of the department as well as parliamentary questions and coordinate the answers with the media office of the ESTV

• Completed law degree or diploma as a tax expert with good knowledge of economic issues or equivalent knowledge and experience acquired in the professional career
• Very good knowledge of VAT law and its application
• Excellent editorial skills as well as an independent, thorough and forward working method
• Good communication skills and high social skills
• Good knowledge of a second official language
