- Lead and further develop the team architecture and UI/UX domains in personnel, professional and organizational terms
- In the role of CTO, responsible for the company, solution and technology architecture as well as their alignment with strategy, standards and ICT requirements
- Advise the CIO and relevant stakeholders on architecture and technology issues and help shape ICT strategy
- Ensure step-by-step and transparent communication on architectural topics within IT and towards the specialist areas of ESTV
- Control innovation and technology scouting as well as responsible for tools, technologies and user-centred UI/UX standards
- Master's degree in Computer Science and/or Business Administration and/or Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in managing employees in the line and/or in agile software projects
- Ability to translate business strategy into a consistent technology and architecture strategy
- Very good knowledge of software development methods as well as in-depth know-how in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, ArchiMate)
- Good knowledge of a second official language and knowledge of a third official language and of English
