What awaits you.

The fleet of SBB Infrastructure is one of the three fleets of SBB rail vehicles alongside the passenger traffic and Cargo fleets. Approximately 2,500 vehicles are used for construction sites (e.g. locomotives, ballast cars, railway cranes), for operations (e.g. extinguishing and rescue trains) and for special applications (e.g. snow milling machines, maintenance fleet of the Saint-Gothard base tunnel). As a member of the management team of the Vehicle Acquisition and Fleet Management Unit, you are contributing to the evolution of the SBB Infrastructure and Unit fleet. You thus participate in safe, reliable and sustainable mobility in Switzerland. What you can move.

• At the head of a team of 12 employees, you play a key role in ensuring the safety and efficient use of the SBB Infrastructure fleet.
• You ensure the availability of the right vehicles at the right time for construction sites, interventions and special applications.
• Plan and affect the fleet with the objective of achieving the best economic efficiency from long-term dimensioning to short-term optimization of usage and availability while respecting the safety framework.
• In your role as ECM 3, you guarantee timely maintenance and documentation.
• By cultivating a trust-based team climate, you embody the SBB values and leadership principles of the Infrastructure Division.
• As a Business Owner in IT projects, you continuously evolve your team's processes.

What you bring.

• Analytical thinking comes to you naturally and you make decisions based on the data.
• You have a proven experience of leading with hierarchical responsibility and master the management of stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Physical Asset Management characterize your profile.
• Driven by a strong affinity for rail vehicles, you are regularly present on the gemba field.
• Having a tertiary degree in a technical or economic field, you provide a solid foundation.
• German is mastered at level C1 and another national French or Italian language at level B1.
