At the University Psychiatric Center Bern (UPZ), you can expect a versatile and responsible leadership role in an important area of hospital operations. In textile management, you and your team ensure professional, efficient and hygienic processing of the laundry. You combine leadership, organization and quality awareness with your pleasure in working with different people.

Your tasks

• You assume the technical and human responsibility for the textile management department and manage the employees under your control
• Together with your team, you ensure a smooth and efficient textile processing process
• You implement the hygiene concept and carry out regular quality controls (in the event of deviations, take appropriate measures)
• You plan the assignments of your employees and ensure a needs-based organization of work processes
• You promote team building and team development, lead team meetings and provide training for your employees
• You accompany employees in protected workplaces and support them in their professional development
• You maintain contact with internal and external customers and ensure a high quality of service
• You participate in the further development of textile management and recognize potential for optimizing processes and structures
• You take on administrative tasks and ensure reliable documentation and organization in your area of responsibility

Your profile

• You have a completed education in the field of housekeeping as well as a further education to / to the department manager / in hotel industry-housekeeping FA or an equivalent qualification
• You bring several years of professional and managerial experience, ideally in the area of textile management or in a heavy laundry and preferably in the health care sector.
• You enjoy leading, promoting and shaping a good team culture together with employees
• You work structured, plan ahead and keep an overview even in challenging situations
• You have a strong quality and hygiene awareness as well as a flair for organization, operations and administration
• Contact with different people gives you pleasure and you appear customer-oriented, socially competent and resilient
• Accompanying and supporting employees in protected workplaces is an enriching task for you
• You have good IT user knowledge and master the German language stylishly in word and writing
