University Hospital for Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy
At the University Psychiatric Center in Bern, we look after 18 people with complex psychiatric diseases and acute stress crises. Our team specializes in the treatment of psychiatric movement disorders such as catatonia and therapy-resistant depression and has in-depth expertise in both somatic and psychiatric care. Thanks to our proximity to somatic medicine, we provide our patients with comprehensive and holistic care. As a night watch, you take on a responsible task and ensure the professional and safe care of our patients during the night. With your calm, attentive and empathetic nature, you create an atmosphere of trust and recognize changes in the psychological and somatic state at an early stage. Your tasks
- You provide individual, professional care during the night and accompany our patients through complex recovery processes
- In acute crisis situations, you act confidently and with empathy – your calm and professional competence make the difference
- During the night you take responsibility for the care process and contribute significantly to the continuity in therapy
- You bring your ideas and expertise to the further development of our care concepts – your voice counts!
- In the interdisciplinary team, you work closely with specialists from different disciplines to achieve the best possible result for our patients.
Your profile
- You have a diploma as a nurse HF / FH and ideally bring professional experience in the somatic and/or psychiatric care of patients or would like to continue your education in this area
- Your empathy and high level of expertise make you a valuable support for our patients and their relatives.
- Even in challenging situations, you remain calm and calm, show initiative and take responsibility
- You value team collaboration and actively contribute your ideas – joint success motivates you
- A careful, independent way of working is a matter of course for you, and you enjoy mastering everyday life with a healthy level of humor.
