The Spital Emmental offers specialists at the two hospital locations Burgdorf and Langnau for the high-standing medical care of 150 000 inhabitants – around the clock.
Our Institute for Radiology and Neuroradiology is responsible for imaging diagnostics at both hospital locations and is responsible for the detection of conventional X-ray examinations of several large-scale practices in the catchment area.
Thanks to the subspecialization of radiology and an independent neuroradiology department, we guarantee highest diagnostic quality.

Main responsibilities
- You support the RFP team with your specific expertise as a specialist health in radiological examinations and care for patients: within minimally invasive interventions in various areas (relieving RFP in conv.
- Area, in ultrasound examinations, assisting of radiologists in transillumination, Venflon lay, patient: prepare for the corresponding examinations)
- You accompany patients: in examinations in the radiological setting, prepare them for examinations (e.g. MR, CT, X-ray, ultrasound) and treat them
- You prepare the arthrographies in the illumination and serve the radiolologist (prepare the sterile table)
- You prepare the material for the interventions independently in ultrasound and assist the radiologist
- You independently carry out administrative tasks such as image imports, exports, teleradiology, repeats
- You ensure professional, safe and patient-oriented care and care of radiological patients:inside
- You recognize emergency situations and alert you to the situation
- You are responsible for material management and captured services profile
- You have a completed training as a specialist Health EFZ
