• As a data engineer, you develop and operate data pipelines and scalable data products on the SBB’s own Enterprise Analytics Platform with Snowflake as a data warehouse. This creates reliable data bases for decisions in energy.
• Close cooperation with data scientists and data analysts in the development of data sources. You design stable integration processes and transform different formats into sustainable models.
• You advance CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and automation, ensuring the quality, traceability and scalability of data products.
• Robust data models and clean data preparation that provide consistent, consumer-focused data views for analytics and automation.

You bring that with you.

• Thanks to your independent and proactive work with a strong team orientation, you take on responsibility to actively shape change.
• Several years of experience in development with Python, Java and TypeScript as well as the associated frameworks (dbt, Spring Boot, Angular)
• Secure handling of SQL, Data Modelling and ETL or ELT. Practice with DevOps and CI/CD as well as containerization with Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• An advantage is experience in dealing with Snowflake, Tekton, ArgoCD and Git as well as any experience with geodata (ArcGIS and FME), data visualization (Power BI and Streamlit) and agile working methods such as SAFe or Scrum.
• Language competence in German and English at at least level C1.
