The Biel Hospital Center is the public center hospital of the bilingual Biel-Seeland-Berne Jura region. Are you interested in working alongside our 2,300 employees for the health of our population? SZB Apotheke AG is a subsidiary of the Biel Hospital Center (SZB), the public center hospital of the bilingual region of Biel-Seeland-Berner Jura. Today we run a public pharmacy in the acute hospital. At the MEDIN site near Biel Station, the SZB combines its clinics and subsidiaries with outpatient services.In the immediate vicinity of Biel Station, the health centre "Maison de la Santé" will be opened in 2027, bringing together chronic outpatient care at MEDIN in one place. In the foyer of the building and optimally accessible for all patients, our public pharmacy will receive a second location. Chief Pharmacist (80 - 100%)

You do.

• Co-development of the services offered for the planned official pharmacy in the «Maison de la Santé» in close cooperation with the service providers of this centre
• Personal advice and support of patients incl. Pharmaceutical services such as vaccinations, medication analyses, initial examinations and support for chronically ill people
• Working at the Official Pharmacy at the Acute Hospital
• Participation in the establishment and further development of an interdisciplinary health network in the Biel area
• technical support of construction planning and implementation; obtaining all necessary authorisations for the operation of a public pharmacy; establishment, leadership and development of the team
• Assumption of technical responsibility and site management from the start of operations

This draws you

• Eidg. Diploma as a pharmacist or equivalent recognition by MEBEKO
• Eidg. Continuing education in official pharmacy (FPH) and cantonal professional training permit or the conditions for:
• Enjoying direct patient contact and motivation to actively offer and develop pharmaceutical services
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in a managerial capacity
• Communication fluent in German or French (word/script) with good knowledge (word/script) of the other language
• High social skills and ability to move skillfully in an interprofessional environment
• Patient-oriented and entrepreneurial thinking, innovative and committed personality with independent working methods and a high sense of responsibility
• Good IT user knowledge, knowledge of ProPharma and KISIM is an advantage
