As Head of Damage, you are part of the management team of the General Agency Bern-Ost. Together with your team, you ensure that our customers are supported quickly, easily and personally in the event of a claim. At the same time, you actively shape the further development of our general agency.

This is what you do with us

You lead our damage team professionally and personnel. You create a trusting working environment, promote your employees and accompany their professional and personal development. Together with your team, you are responsible for professional claims handling. In complex cases of damage, on-site visits and demanding customer concerns, you bring your experience and support viable solutions.

With your thinking and implementation-oriented way, you develop our cooperation and work processes further. You will maintain an exchange with regional partner companies and contribute your ideas to the digitalization and automation of claims processing.

This is what you bring with you

• Completed training in the insurance sector with appropriate training
• Several years of professional and managerial experience in the insurance industry, preferably in the claims area
• Strong leadership and joy in promoting employees and actively shaping change
• High customer orientation, decision-making strength and pleasure in personal contact with customers
• Interest in digital technologies and the further development of work processes
• A strong connection with the Berne East region is an advantage
• fluent knowledge of German
• Further language skills are welcome

For the exercise of this function, the degree as an insurance intermediary VBV with the profile Non-Life is required. If you do not already have it, we will gladly support you with a suitable internal training.

In this key role, you gain creative leeway, take on responsibility and actively shape the further development of the Bern-Ost General Agency. Your place of work is Ostermundigen, your workload is 80-100%. The job starts on January 1, 2027 or by agreement.
