Together with the second team leader, Myriam Schwab, specialists and education managers, you help us to drive improvements and ensure high quality. In order to strengthen the management group, we are looking for a:

Team leader birth department / midwife (80-100%)

You do

• Responsibility for ensuring holistic care and support for pregnant women, childbearers and newborns and their caregivers
• Management and organization of the birth department in a duo with a committed and motivated team of around 25 midwives (including outpatient consultation hours at the location SZB, as well as gynaecological emergencies outside office hours)
• Project coordination and management in renewals/further developments in the women’s clinic
• Optimization and co-creation of the specialist development in the Frauenklinik based on targeted use of working groups
• Co-responsibility in securing the training mandate of students and the achievement of goals for employees in further education
• Promoting constructive cooperation in the team as well as interface areas of the Frauen-enklinik / Kinderklinik and external partners

This sets you apart

• Diploma as midwife HF/FH with several years of practical experience in the birth department
• Leadership experience is beneficial
• Social competence and empathy for a professional and human encounter, even in complex situations
• High sense of responsibility with strong organizational capacity, structured work and economic action
• Open and winning personality with a high patient orientation, which actively promotes appreciative communication and good cooperation with different professional groups
• Mother tongue German or French and with good knowledge of the other language (minimum B1)
