Full description
The gastronomy of the University Center vonRoll belongs to the canteens and cafeterias of the University of Bern. The company consists of a cafeteria and two cafeterias. During the full semester, up to 1,200 meals are prepared daily. Furthermore, numerous internal and external caterings are carried out. True to the ZFV philosophy, freshly cooked locally with regional and ecologically well-produced and fair trade food. Are you our new team member who supports us as banquet and seminar assistant:in (80-100%) immediately or by appointment? You work from Monday to Friday in an 80-100% workload. For events, working hours are possible in the evening or on weekends. Your area of activity:
- Operational execution of catering and deliveries to internal and external locations
- Administrative work (offers, event organization, etc.)
- Preparation & follow-up of the events (equipment, logistics, set-up & dismantling, etc.)
- Ensuring smooth communication with all departments
- Cooperation in the care of machines
- Operational support of the cafeteria and cafeteria operations
- Ensuring ZFV quality and service standards
- Control, compliance and implementation of hygiene and safety guidelines Your strengths:
- Basic gastronomic training EFZ beneficial
- Professional experience in gastronomy/hotelry/event
- Good IT knowledge in MS-Office and industry-specific systems
- Appropriate oral and written knowledge of German
- Good knowledge of foreign languages (English, French)
- Good knowledge of administrative work
- Driving licence B mandatory
