The personnel of the army (Pers A) accompanies the members of the army from recruitment to dismissal from military service. You can make this contribution

• Analyse and document recruitment processes, maintain work instructions and show concrete improvement possibilities

• Create comprehensible process and training documents and communicate their application in internal information and training sequences

• Check data in the Army Personnel Information System (PISA), in particular in the recruitment module, for completeness, plausibility and consistency and support the troubleshooting according to specifications

• Create data quality evaluations and reports, participate in the weekly recruitment monitoring and support the evaluation centers with technical questions about data quality

• accompany system adjustments and releases, participate in technical tests, document the results and coordinate clarifications with internal specialist departments and external partners

• Working in IT and organizational projects, working on defined task packages and supporting the integration of approved adjustments into workflows

This makes them unique.

• Completed vocational apprenticeship EFZ in computer science, media or in the commercial sector with a strong IT/data reference or equivalent training
• Completion of a higher technical school (HF) is advantageous

• Practical experience in data processing, data quality, process documentation, quality management or professional application support

• Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, as well as safe handling of Microsoft 365
• Knowledge of PISA, Power BI, Reporting or Ticketing

• Analytical thinking, high care and the ability to detect data deviations, document them in a comprehensible way and implement solutions according to specifications

• Service-oriented communication, pleasure in working with different specialist areas and skill in communicating workflows to user groups as well as reliable and discreet handling of sensitive personal data

• Oral and written knowledge of a second official language

Your commitment to security and freedom The training command (Kdo Ausb) is responsible for training within the Swiss army – from recruitment to general basic training to cadre training for the militia and the professional military. The Kdo Ausb includes the higher cadre training, the personnel of the army, five teaching associations, the training center as well as the Women in the Army and Diversity Department. One third of the approximately 2,350 employees work in civilian professions in the scientific, technical, medical, psychological, administrative or sports sector and contribute to success together with the professional military.

The Swiss Army employs more than 9,000 people in four military and around 200 civilian occupations – at 110 locations throughout Switzerland. The next generation is also taken care of: The Swiss Army trains learners in more than 30 professions.
