You work in shifts to attend to outpatient emergencies in the areas of urology, orthopedics, general and visceral surgery and ENT and carry out small emergency procedures such as nasal packing, wound care, drainage inserts (puncture/chest drains) and reductions under the supervision of senior doctors.
