Your responsibilities

• Professional and personnel management of the intensive care unit (8 beds certified for category B) ensuring high-quality care for patients at the IPS.
• Responsibility for the organisation and further development of intensive care medicine and care under the administrative direction of the Medical Clinic and the Institute of Anesthesia.
• Supervision, further education and coaching of the medical and nursing team in intensive care unit
• Ensuring compliance with quality, safety and hygiene standards in intensive care medicine
• Participation in strategic topics of the department
• Participation in the on-call/background service of intensive care medicine as well as within the medical clinic

Your skills

• Specialist title in Intensive Medicine or Anesthesiology & Intensive Medicine (FMH or equivalent)
• Specialist title in General Internal Medicine (FMH or equivalent)
• Experience in a senior medical position in intensive care medicine
• Leadership competence and experience in team management (medical and interprofessional)
• Enjoyment of the training and further education of assistant doctors: insiders and nursing staff
• High commitment to quality, process optimization and interdisciplinary cooperation
• Excellent knowledge of German
• Ideally
