For protection against viral animal diseases and zoonoses
The Institute of Virology and Immunology IVI works on innovative solutions for combating viral animal diseases and zoonoses and ensures diagnostics in crisis situations.
Animal diseases, emerging diseases in animals and infectious diseases that can be transmitted from animals to humans (zoonoses) pose major challenges for society. We work interdisciplinary in the sense of One Health in order to contribute sustainably to the health of humans and animals.
