Do you want to accompany children in their development, discover the world with them and actively shape their everyday life? At the Ratatui kindergarten of the Universitäre Psychiatrische Zentrum Bern in Münsingen, you are right in the middle of it and learn how to accompany children in their first and important years of life lovingly, attentively and professionally. As a specialist you support the children in their physical, mental, emotional and social development. It is guaranteed never boring: You play, craft, sing, tell stories, help with food and personal care and together with the team for a varied and safe everyday life.

Your tasks

• You accompany and care for children in everyday life and support them according to their age and individual needs
• You playfully promote the children in their physical, mental, emotional and social development
• You design creative, playful and age-appropriate activities and bring your own ideas
• You support the children with food, body care, afternoon sleep and other everyday situations
• You accompany the children in transitions and changes in the daily routine – from the morning farewell to the return home
• You observe children’s development and learn to perceive their needs and respond appropriately to them
• You work closely with the care team and parents and take on more responsibility step by step

Your profile

• You have completed compulsory schooling
• Dealing with children is fun for you and you want to accompany and promote them in their development
• You are patient, empathetic, reliable, like to take responsibility and are open to learning and developing new things.
• You like to work in a team and approach other people openly and respectfully
• You like to get involved in the world of children and actively participate in playing, crafting, singing, reading and discovering
• You bring motivation, creativity and a dose of humor
