Tasks

• Together with internal teams and external partners, you ensure the stable, secure and high-performance operation of our Linux-based system and platform landscape.
• You will continuously operate, monitor and develop our infrastructure and platform services
• You will actively participate in company-wide infrastructure and network projects and contribute your experience in design, implementation and operation
• You take responsibility for incident, problem and change management and analyze disruptions independently up to the system and network level
• You advise application managers in the areas of Linux systems, network infrastructure, platform architecture and security and act as a technical interface to development and operation
• You maintain our system and network documentation and ensure its up-to-date and availability

Requirements

• You have completed a computer science education or several years of professional experience as a Linux System Engineer / Administrator
• Ideally, You have in-depth knowledge of the operation of Oracle Linux systems
• You have a strong network affinity and are familiar with the following topics: LAN / WLAN, switching & routing, Cisco networks, authentication and access mechanisms (e.g. 802.1X)
• You have experience in handling container and platform environments (RedHat OpenShift, Docker, Podman)
• Automate recurring tasks with Ansible and scripting (e.g. Bash, Python)
• You have experience with virtualization technologies, backup and storage solutions (e.g. Veeam)
• You move safely in heterogeneous IT environments and have no fear of contact with: Microsoft technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server/Clients, AD, Exchange, Teams, VoIP) and Git
• You have a quick apprehension of technical connections and user knowledge in the Atlassian Cloud Suite
• You speak German
• Knowledge of French and/or Italian is an advantage
