The Biel Hospital Center is the public center hospital of the bilingual Biel-Seeland-Berne Jura region. Are you interested in working alongside our 2,300 employees for the health of our population? The patient administration of the Biel Hospital Center is a central service unit at the interface between patients and external agencies, but also between various internal specialist areas. To support the hospital’s core business, it provides services in the areas of reception, patient and emergency reception, billing, fees and performance recording. In order to strengthen our team in the emergency department, we are looking for an immediately or by agreement:

Personnel/emergency department (60-90%)

• Personal reception of patients in the emergency room
• Administrative recording, processing of patient data and preparation of documents
• Ensuring a full cost guarantee (certification of insurance relationships)
• Co-design of processes and optimization of internal working methods
• Promoting interdisciplinary cooperation (including nursing, doctors, security service)
• Communication and coordination

• Basic commercial training or good knowledge of Microsoft IT tools (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• German or French mother tongue with very good knowledge (oral/written) of the other language. English and/or Italian skills are beneficial
• Organizational skill and speed in repetitive tasks
• You are team-oriented and flexible, your attitude is service-oriented, you have good social skills and a strong quality awareness
• They enjoy varied work and human contact with patients and the medical profession
• You are ready to work on weekends, at night and on holidays
