Portrait The school Wangental belongs to the municipality of Köniz and consists of the school Niederwangen Juch, the school Niederwangen Ried and the school Oberwangen. In the school year 26/27 14 basic level classes, 12 Z2 classes, 6 Z3 classes and a KbF upper stage class. Of these, three basic level classes and three cycle 2 classes will be located in Oberwangen. The Wangental School currently comprises 650 students and over 90 employees. We maintain our mission statement, which includes the following guiding principle: We pay attention to a trusting atmosphere in which parents and school meet respectfully and communicate in a solution-oriented manner. For our school we are looking for a committed and qualified personality as a curative school teacher / curative teacher for the integrative special primary school offer (bVSA-int.).

Tasks

They are responsible for implementing the simple special pedagogical measures (bVSA-int) for a 5th grade student who is integrated into a rule class (5th/6th grade).

In this responsible role, you take on central tasks in three main areas:

Consulting and network

• They work closely in tandem with the rule class teacher and prepare the lessons together in co-teaching.
• They actively advise and support the rule teacher in school integration and in dealing with specific disabilities or challenging behavior.
• They manage and coordinate the cooperation with the guardians (e.g. in location discussions) as well as with external specialists.

Education and promotion

• They design the integrative teaching methodologically and didactically in such a way that learning media, work materials and goals are optimally adapted to the level of the bVSA child.
• They carry out targeted support units both within the class association and in flexible small groups.
• They promote an inclusive classroom climate that strengthens the diversity of learners and enables real social participation.

Funding planning and reports

• They record the current development and learning status of the child in a well-founded manner and incorporate existing reports professionally.
• They create, evaluate and control the statutory individual education and support planning.
• They prepare the annual bVSA funding report for the school management and the Education and Cultural Directorate (BKD).

Requirements

• You have an EDK-approved diploma in curative education or are a teacher with a curative pedagogical flair.
• They have knowledge of the cantonal elementary school law (Berne), the implementation of simple special educational measures in the elementary school as well as the guideline "Measures in the standard school".
• They have methodological-didactic competence with regard to inner differentiation and have experience in support diagnostics.
• They have a strong willingness to cooperate, communication skills and enjoy the close teamwork in tandem.
• They have psychological resilience, flexibility in dealing with challenging behavior and a structured, independent way of working.
