Role overview

With your organizational talent and your accuracy, you ensure smooth logistics processes. Thanks to your experience in warehousing and transport, as well as the safe handling of systems and industrial trucks, you work efficiently in a team, get involved physically and keep an overview even in hectic phases.

• Responsibility for the professional acceptance of Seafood deliveries incl. Check for completeness, cold chain and product quality (freshness, hygiene)
• Temperature-appropriate storage of the goods (refrigerated and frozen warehouses), correct marking (date, batch, origin) and assurance of the FIFO principle
• Careful recording of all incoming goods in the merchandise management system (e.g. SAP), maintenance of inventory data and monitoring of MHD and batches
• Compliance with high hygiene and safety standards according to HACCP, incl. Cleaning/disinfection of storage areas and wearing of prescribed protective clothing
• Close cooperation and communication with dispatch, purchasing and internal transport Forwarding teams as well as active participation in warehouse organisation and inventories

Requirements

• Several years of experience: Logistics/Warehouse
• Completed vocational apprenticeship (EFZ): logistician
• Safe handling of warehouse management systems (e.g. SAP) as well as driving authorization and practice in the use of industrial trucks (stackers/trucks)
• In-depth knowledge of storage processes (incoming goods, picking, packaging, shipping, inventory)
• Reliable, accurate and physically resilient personality with strong organizational ability and team orientation
• Safety and hygiene-conscious, self-responsible working method with good time management and customer-oriented appearance
