Finance / Controlling / Audit Workload: 50% - 100% Location: Level of experience: With professional experience FlexOffice: on-site As a Reinsurance Specialist, you will play a central role in the financial support of the international insurance and reinsurance business of Specialty Lines CH & International and ensure that complex contracts are mapped correctly, completely and on time at all times. You will manage selected treaty portfolios holistically across the gross and reinsurance sides; from mapping in SAP FS-RI to the management of cash flows, receivables and payables in SAP FS-CD. With your analyses, you will create transparency, provide valuable impetus for well-founded decisions and actively develop efficient end-to-end processes. At the same time, you will contribute your expertise in closing, reporting and planning to the Passive Reinsurance team.

What you do

• You will manage selected insurance and reinsurance contracts over the entire life cycle and ensure precise, complete and timely mapping in SAP FS-RI.
• With your focus on quality, you ensure the contractual compliance of transactions, settlements and bordereaux as well as consistent results at gross, ceded and net level.
• You drive central payment processes in SAP FS-CD, keep an eye on receivables and payables, and ensure smooth payment flows.
• You will transform contract, payment and result data into clear insights and a well-founded basis for decision-making for management.
• You will use your expertise in quarterly and annual financial statements, forecasts and financial planning and accompany treaty renewals and new contract structures.
• You resolve differences pragmatically and in partnership – in close exchange with internal teams, clients, brokers and reinsurance partners.
• You will actively shape the future of our end-to-end processes, accelerate automation and accompany system tests, migrations as well as regulatory and accounting projects.

What you bring to the table

• You have a degree in business administration, accounting or a comparable qualification.
• You have experience in the insurance or reinsurance environment, ideally in financial accounting, technical accounting or subledger accounting.
• You will use your knowledge of IFRS 17 and/or local accounting standards confidently
• Experience with SAP FS-RI and SAP FS-CD is a plus.
• You convince with analytical, solution-oriented thinking as well as a pronounced awareness of quality and detail.
• You act confidently, reliably and focused even in intensive phases and set priorities effectively.
• You actively shape your area of ​​responsibility with your own initiative, independence and team spirit.
• You communicate complex issues clearly and convincingly - in German and English as well as in exchange with internal and external partners.

Requirements

• Completed degree in business administration, accounting or comparable qualification

• Experience in insurance or reinsurance, ideally in financial or technical accounting

• Solid knowledge of IFRS 17 and/or local accounting regulations

• Experience with SAP FS-RI and SAP FS-CD is a plus
