About the Role We are looking for Procurement Specialist to join our team and help manage our organization’s procurement needs in area of Information Technology (IT).
Responsibilities of Procurement Specialist IT include
- Support a variety of initiatives to reduce costs and improve quality of goods and services provided by third parties for category areas such as Hardware, Software, Licenses, Cloud & Connectivity, IT Outsourcing
- Lead commercial negotiations for assigned business cases
- Prepare, review and negotiate contracts, initiate legal reviews and vendor due diligence process where needed
- Execute comprehensive RFx process followed by full contract life cycle management
- Review and approve purchase orders to ensure compliance with internal standards and guidelines
- Collaborate with Category Managers in developing and implementing procurement strategies across the organization
- Communicate with internal partners to ensure that purchased products and services meet the business needs and support strategic goals
- Cooperate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with digital governance
About the Team You will be part of IT & Data Procurement, a unit within Group Procurement Team of Swiss Re. As a member of this unit you will work closely with Procurement Specialists and Category Managers based primarily in Bratislava, Zurich and London.
About You
- You have a bachelor’s or master´s degree preferably in Economics / Business Administration or a Procurement, Supply chain degree.
