Descrizione The Department of Neuroorthopaedics of the University Children's Hospital Beider Basel (UKBB) supervises patients and their families with a dynamic team in over 4,500 consultations/year, including transition to the adult area of the Unispital Basel (USB).
We are an expert centre for orthopaedic deformities in rare neurological and neuromuscular diseases, and are therefore part of several multidisciplinary consultation hours (with colleagues from spinal surgery, neurosurgery and the various paediatric departments).
We have a state-of-the-art clinical gait laboratory for neuroorthopedic patients, but also patients with general deformities, sports injuries and spinal pathologies.
Key requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent (SRK)
Solid clinical experience with patients
Experience with children and/or sports orthopedics
Experience and basic knowledge in gait and movement analysis (plus)
Knowledge of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMS)
Interest and basic skills in project management/coordination
Excellent English and German language skills
Flexibility, responsibility, and strong communication skills in patient contact
