Role overview
The neonatology of the UKBB with 16 beds, including six respiratory facilities, intermediate care and special care in the rooming-in, is located in the immediate vicinity of the Gebärsaal of the Frauenklinik of the University Hospital Basel.
We look after neonates and newborns from the 24th SSW.
The care team consists of 60 employees in a total of 40 FTE.
- The neonatology of the UKBB with 16 beds, including six respiratory facilities, intermediate care and special care in the rooming-in, is located in the immediate vicinity of the Gebärsaal of the Frauenklinik of the University Hospital Basel.
- We look after neonates and newborns from the 24th SSW.
- Completed nursing training for dipl. Nursing specialist HF/FH
- Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing Sciences

Key requirements
- Completed nursing training for dipl. Nursing specialist HF/FH
- Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing Sciences
- Completed Continuing Education NDS Intensive Care or ÜWP in Neonatological Intensive Care
- In-depth clinical, theoretical nursing knowledge and experience in the care of premature and newborn children
- At least 2 years of professional experience
- Motivation and ability to work constructively in a multidisciplinary team Independent and flexible working methods
