The Position Who we are You start with us at Pharma Biotech in Penzberg. We produce pharmaceutical active ingredients in various indication areas, e.g. in oncology for the treatment of breast cancer and cardiovascular disease. In the functional unit microbiological product quality control, the biotechnologically produced active ingredients are tested for compliance with high quality standards. The task of the “Quality Control Microbiology, Environmental Monitoring & Cleaning” unit is, among other things, to carry out microbiological tests to check the active ingredients and the process plant.

Your tasks

• You are responsible for the GMP-appropriate execution of analyses within the framework of microbiological product quality control
• The test spectrum and your area of responsibility include microbiological, biochemical and molecular biological methods such as germ count determination, endotoxin testing and identification of microorganisms
• You are documenting Your trials and results according to the regulatory requirements
• You work together as a team in routine analysis
• You are involved in the development, establishment and validation of analytical methods. In particular, you are responsible for validating methods for new input materials
• You keep our specifications for GMP-compliant analytics up to date

Who you are

• You have completed scientific training in one of the following areas: Biology or Chemical Laboratory, Biological, Chemical or Medical Technical Assistant or Comparable
• You have at least three years of practical experience in the laboratory environment and are familiar with the GMP requirements
• You have experience in the validation of microbiological methods, especially for feedstock testing
• You have good knowledge of microbiological and biochemical methods
• Teamwork makes for You have fun and you like to work in detail

This position is limited to 2 years.
