Tasks
In the Commercial Employee EFZ apprenticeship (healthcare sector), you can expect a varied working day. You will gain insight into Switzerland's healthcare system and the various areas of a dynamic healthcare organization. Through the regular departmental rotations, you will get to know the following administrative departments and their working environments:
- 1st year of apprenticeship: Patient administration : You process administrative information relating to treatments and therapies – carefully, discreetly and always in an organized manner.
- Patient admission : You welcome patients and ensure that their administrative support runs smoothly.
- 2nd year of apprenticeship: Purchasing & logistics : You assist with ordering medical supplies / office supplies and help ensure that everything is in the right place at the right time.
- Financial accounting : You gain insight into financial accounting and assist with checking invoices.
- 3rd year of apprenticeship: HR : You help create and manage employment contracts, maintain personnel data and learn about the administrative processes related to human resources.
- Finance : In management accounting, you gain insight into the billing of a hospital's costs / services according to the applicable tariffs.
Requirements
- You achieve very good results in the core subjects at secondary school level E or P
- You are an outgoing team player and enjoy a lively working environment
- Your work ethic is reliable, self-directed and conscientious
- 6 weeks of vacation per year – because you also deserve time to recharge and enjoy yourself
