Your responsibility

• Management of the Infothek’s media and information services, including research, procurement, collection and updating of relevant information resources.
• Creation and updating of leaflets, texts and other analogue and digital information media as well as target group-oriented preparation and mediation of the content.
• Cooperation in the development of new information formats and the further development of existing information offerings.
• Cooperation in the further development and management of LBZ Link as well as other digital information platforms and CMS systems.
• Collaboration in the further development of the Infothek and in other sub-projects as well as optimization of information offers and processes.
• Takeover of information library services and information discussions with customers.
• Support of professional, study and career advisors in technical questions and research as well as cooperation in information and teaching units with groups and school classes and in the introduction to the career choice Trail.
• Cooperation in the organisation and implementation of events as well as maintaining cooperation with external institutions and specialist bodies.

Your background

• You have a degree as a specialist information and documentation EFZ, as a bookseller EFZ or a comparable education in the library or information sector.
• They bring good computer science knowledge and interest in the further development of digital information offers.
• They are open to new developments in knowledge and media management and have a networked mindset.
• They are creatively involved in the target group-oriented creation and updating of our information products.
• They have excellent knowledge of German in words and writing.
• They convince with a high performance competence and good communication skills.

The career centre (LBZ BL) in Pratteln, including mentoring and general further education, is a main department of the Department of Vocational Education, Secondary Schools and Universities (BMH). The LBZ BL advises and informs young people and adults on all questions of vocational, school and study choice as well as career planning and maintains a public information library. The career centre cooperates with schools, public training and partner institutions and conducts consultations and courses on behalf of third parties.
