Role overview

Tasks

• Together with the medical and business management, you assume strategic, organizational and nursing responsibility for the Universitary Heart Center.

• They actively shape the further development of the heart center and provide impulses for the highest quality, cost-effectiveness and consistent patient-centered care.

• They lead the nursing management level with five direct and approximately 110 indirect employees and promote a high-performance, appreciative leadership culture.

• They ensure high-quality nursing care and actively promote the further development of an evidence-based nursing practice

• You are responsible for the care budget of the heart center and optimize the resource planning and the use of resources in close cooperation with the care management.

• They establish, evaluate and optimize processes and structures continuously with regard to quality, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Diploma completed as a nurse HF/FH with a relevant master’s degree (e.g. in nursing science, management in healthcare or advanced practice nursing)

• Several years of leadership experience in a complex, highly specialized hospital organization, ideally in the field of cardiology or cardiac surgery

• Strong leadership, communication and change skills as well as the ability to inspire people for common goals

• Decision-making strength, entrepreneurial thinking and a high implementation orientation
