- You have successfully completed a degree (Master or Bachelor) in engineering, safety technology, health management or a comparable qualification.
Main responsibilities
- | This is what awaits you In the role, you will take responsibility for ensuring technical system and process safety as well as occupational safety in the RDG, with a clear focus on functional safety and the design of safe working environments.
- In addition, you will take on the following exciting tasks:
- You will carry out specialist safety considerations and risk analyses, particularly contributing your expertise in the classification of functional safety (SIL graphs) and assessment of systems with asphyxiating gases (K16 standard).
- You coordinate security requirements and implement them consistently in order to increase legal certainty for everyone responsible in the department.
Key requirements

- You have successfully completed a degree (Master or Bachelor) in engineering, safety technology, health management or a comparable qualification.
- You have sound, relevant professional experience (6-8 years for a bachelor's degree, 5-7 years for a master's degree), ideally in the chemical industry.
- You have in-depth knowledge of the relevant regulations, especially with regard to BetrSichV, TRBS, TRGS, TRAS, DIN EN 61508, DIN EN 615011 and K16. A strong economic mindset and Ha

- As a competent contact person, you check security concepts and advise the organization on the implementation of complex technical requirements.
- You investigate work-related injuries or media exposures, carry out in-depth cause analyzes and derive preventive measures from them.
- Together with the business units, you will develop sustainable solutions and actively support them until they are successfully handed over into operational operations.
- You ensure that the measures taken are not only safe but also economical and demonstrate their sustainable success for the organization.
- You are responsible for all approval documentation between Roche and the approval authorities in coordination with SHE Legislation and the business units.
