Main responsibilities
- They advise all hygiene-relevant areas and support employees and managers in technical issues
- They prevent, detect and fight nosocomial infections and help to reduce pathogen transmission
- They carry out hygiene visits and audits, assess actual and target states and initiate appropriate corrective measures in the event of deviations
- They collect and analyse relevant data, such as infection rates, and prepare the results for expert bodies and decision makers.
- They create, implement and update policies, concepts and programmes for infection prevention and provide appropriate training and training
- They observe technical and scientific developments, evaluate their relevance and support their implementation in the company
- Several years of professional experience in the acute hospital;
- Experience in hospital hygiene, infection prevention or quality management is beneficial
- Strong analytical skills and enjoyment of evidence-based work, data evaluation and reading English-language specialist literature
- Secure, addressee-friendly appearance in advice and training as well as the ability to act bindingly even in demanding situations
