Leadership position in the Building Office Directorate of Construction and Environmental Protection Building Construction Office / Technical Building Management Division Liestal immediately or by agreement

Your responsibility

• Strategic Building Maintenance: You plan, coordinate, and monitor the timely structural maintenance including preventive maintenance measures for the preservation of the properties.
• Finance and Controlling: They prepare annual maintenance and budget planning and ensure the economic use of public funds.
• Team leadership: You lead and promote the specialist staff under your command.
• Procurement: You are responsible for providing maintenance services to external craftsmen and planners in compliance with public procurement.
• Stakeholder management: You work closely with internal and external stakeholders, in particular real estate management, users and external partners.
• Project management/builder representative: You lead, if necessary, renovation, modernization and repair projects from tendering to completion and play a decisive role in organizational projects within the Building Construction Office.

Your background

• You have successfully completed a basic technical or manual training and have a higher professional training e.g. as dipl. Technician / technician Construction Planning, as dipl. Construction manager / Construction manager.
• They bring several years of experience in project management in building maintenance, ideally with experience in the field of public administration and in interdisciplinary cooperation.
• They have proven professional and personnel management experience and are characterized by a cooperative and targeted leadership understanding.
• They have a strong understanding of public procurement and are digitally affine.
• A high cost and quality awareness, negotiating skills and a structured and solution-oriented working method characterize you.

Building Construction Office / Technical Building Management Division

In the Construction and Environmental Protection Directorate, the Building Construction Office employs around 320 people to support and develop the buildings and land in the administrative and financial assets of the canton as well as the cantonal leases. The services of the Building Construction Office are provided along the real estate life cycle and interdisciplinary through the business areas portfolio management, project and construction management, technical building management, infrastructural building management, finance and services as well as the specialist department contaminants and pollutants. The employees of the Technical Building Management division ensure that the buildings and technical facilities/furnishings of the canton are operated reliably, safely and energy-efficiently. This concerns the planning, implementation and monitoring of all structural, technical and operational tasks – including maintenance, repair and furniture.
