Role overview
Bed management functions as a central point for all stationary patient receptions and internal relocations within the Claraspital and the USB, with the exception of patient receptions in highly installed or specialized beds (e.g.
INT, IMC, SU, NCW, isolation station).
It acts as a contact point for all departments of the USB, for all bed stations of the Claraspital as well as for external assignees.

- Planning, coodination and management of elective and emergency entries as well as internal relocations
- Planning and coordination of entries on the day of operation as well as of outpatient operations in cooperation with the surgical management and the surgical day clinic
Main responsibilities
- Planning, coodination and management of elective and emergency entries as well as internal relocations

- Participation in reports or Management of laying reports
- Close cooperation with internal and external referees as well as the treatment teams
- Central interface or contact person to doctors, nurses, case management, emergency and surgery in relation to bed occupancy
- Central contact for external customers in relation to bed occupancy
- Planning of inpatient chemotherapies at the Claraspital site
- Coordination and contact person for the surgical planning ambulatory and stationary in close coordination with the surgical management
- Patient contact for appointment confirmation for outpatient and inpatient operations
- Participation in projects within the area of responsibility
