Every year we offer nine apprenticeships as laboratory assistant / laboratory assistant EFZ specialisation in chemistry with a focus on synthesis or analysis (a).
Training concept
The three-year training is based on the proven trial model with three learning locations:
- Vocational School (aprentas, Muttenz)
- Internal teaching laboratory at Bachem
- Practice in various areas of Bachem AG
Professional profile
Laboratory technicians EFZ Department of Chemistry are experts in the laboratory. They work with a wide variety of substances, which they examine, process or produce themselves.
In the synthesis laboratory, they develop new molecules. Different starting materials give rise to new compounds through targeted chemical processes, precision and sound chemical understanding are crucial.
In the analytical laboratory, they test samples for identity and purity. Using modern analysis equipment and methods, they ensure that all products meet the highest quality requirements.
